Konserva began with a simple idea — to share the products, traditions, and food culture that I grew up with, and later discovered throughout my travels.
I spent my childhood summers on the Mediterranean coast, surrounded by fishermen, boats, seafood, and family meals. Fishing was part of my family's history for generations, and some of my earliest memories are of time spent on the water and around the table.
My career eventually took me into the aerospace industry, where I spent many years working internationally. Along the way, I had the opportunity to live and work in different countries, learn several languages, and meet people from many cultures.
No matter where I went, food was always one of the best ways to connect with people. Some of the most memorable conversations I have had in life happened around a table, sharing local food, wine, and stories.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in the people behind the products: the fishermen, farmers, winemakers, chefs, and artisans who continue to preserve traditions and skills passed down for generations.
That eventually led to Konserva.

In Spain, conserves are part of everyday life. They are not simply pantry products or emergency meals. They are enjoyed with family and friends, served as part of an aperitivo, shared over a glass of wine, or brought to the table when people gather together.
A good conserva is respected in the same way a good cheese, olive oil, or bottle of wine is respected. The quality of the seafood matters. The quality of the ingredients matters. The producer matters. The story matters.
That is the culture we hope to share.

We work with producers who care deeply about what they do. Many of our products come from Galicia and the northern coast of Spain — regions known for exceptional seafood and a long tradition of artisanal canning.
Whenever possible, we select products made with simple ingredients, traditional methods, and without unnecessary additives. We value quality, authenticity, and respect for the sea

Konserva is not about luxury. It is not about trends. It is about enjoying good food, taking time to appreciate where it comes from, and sharing it with others.
A tin of seafood may seem like a simple thing. But behind it are fishermen, producers, traditions, and generations of knowledge.
If our products encourage someone to discover a new flavour, learn a little about Mediterranean food culture, or simply enjoy a good moment with family and friends, then we have accomplished what we set out to do.
